Home What we do Who we are Past projects Future projects Learning Contact us	CATALAN CONNECTION CONNEXIÓ CANADENCA The primary purpose of this project is to introduce playwrights and their work to audiences and theatre professionals in the international arena and to create interest in producing their plays. We will present three staged readings of three Catalan plays in three Canadian cities the first year and present three Canadian plays in three Catalan cities the second. Key to the goals of the project is to fly the playwrights from their home country to the staged readings, both for the experience of seeing the play and to create interest in the individual. In each of the communities we will employ a professional cast to rehearse the readings with a local director, alternating the three plays with Tant per Tant’s resident director. Dates: November 2010: Catalan Connection in Saskatoon, Vancouver and Montreal. Fall 2011: Connexió canadenca in Terrassa, Barcelona, Girona, and Reus.
